Face and Leg Veins

Sclerotherapy or IPL Laser Treatment
Bella Rose uses both laser or IPL vein treatment and sclerotherapy. Laser therapy works by heating unwanted blood vessels with laser energy which causes coagulation (the blood flow stops). The vein becomes less noticeable and, in most cases, will disappear.
Sclerotherapy involves injecting a solution (Asclera) directly into the vein. The sclerotherapy solution causes the vein to scar, forcing blood to reroute through healthier veins. The collapsed vein is reabsorbed into local tissue and eventually fades. After sclerotherapy, treated veins tend to fade within a few weeks, although occasionally it may take a month or more to see the full results. In most instances, several sclerotherapy treatments may be needed.
A Note About Rosacea:
Rosacea is a chronic disorder that is characterized by facial flushing and with time the gradual development of persistent facial redness and spider-like blood vessels. It is often punctuated by episodes of inflammatory papules (bumps), pustules (pimples), and swelling. Management for many people often includes avoidance of popular foods and alcohol as well as cosmetic camouflage, which can be expensive and time-consuming.
At Bella Rose we can use the Elos SRA IPL laser to treat rosacea. The laser light destroys visible blood vessels or reduces extensive redness. Heat from the laser’s energy builds in the vessels, causing them to disintegrate. Most importantly, laser treatment can help prevent progression of rosacea!
