DiamondGlow is a noninvasive skin-resurfacing treatment that utilizes hydrodermabrasion to lift off dead skin leaving behind radiant, healthy looking skin. It is a 3-in-1 treatment which exfoliates, extracts, and infuses professional cosmetic serums directly into the skin when the skin is most receptive. It helps to improve fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, dry and rough skin, and congestion. Because it is a noninvasive treatment with minimal downtime, you can return to your daily activities right after treatment.
If you are familiar with Hydrafacial you will LOVE the DiamondGlow! It takes exfoliation one step further by incorporating manual exfoliation using the diamond encrusted tip. You will leave with smooth, hydrated, plumped skin that is positively glowing.
During your DiamondGlow treatment your face will be thoroughly cleansed, analyzed, and your skin goals will be discussed. A Skin Medica Pro-Infusion Serum will be chosen for your treatment that is customized to your skin. You will receive two passes with the DiamondGlow in a lymphatic drainage pattern. This helps to move lymph through the face which carries waste material that can cause inflammation and breakouts.
The DiamondGlow can be combined hydrating hydrojelly mask or a mild chemical peel. If you have chosen to add on a hydrojelly mask, it will be mixed and applied to the skin. These masks will firm up and can be removed in one piece. They create a vacuum on the skin which draws moisture to the surface of the skin to deeply hydrate while other organic botanicals deeply nourish the skin.
Your skin will be hydrated and super soft when you leave your appointment. There is no downtime associated with the DiamondGlow facial however you should avoid heavy workouts following your treatment, no risk is involved but you can turn pink. With any exfoliation, the outermost layer of your skin has been removed leaving behind healthy fresh cells that are more sensitive to heat changes.
Microdermabrasion is a procedure that exfoliates and removes the superficial layer of dry, dead skin cells. We use a medical grade hand-held device with a diamond tip wand which is moved across the skin while also suctioning the dirt and dead cells.
This treatment is most effective in patients with fine lines, uneven pigmentation or clogged pores. It is an excellent procedure to help maximize the benefit of a regular topical regimen or chemical peel to keep skin feeling smooth, help pigment look more even and speed clearance of whiteheads.
Microdermabrasion requires no down time and does not present any serious risks when it is performed by a qualified provider. However, some people may experience slight skin irritation after microdermabrasion.
Treatments can be scheduled as close as 2 weeks apart. After a series of regular treatments has been completed, maintenance treatments are recommended twice a year. It is recommended to combine microdermabrasion with chemical peels or facials to maximize results.
Dermaplaning is a safe, non-invasive treatment in which a special blade is held a forty-five degree angle and is gently moved along the skin, removing “peach fuzz” and dead skin cells. It can be performed as a standalone treatment or prior to other skincare treatments to enhance their effectiveness. This treatment does not require downtime and will effectively smooth acne scars to give you the smoothest possible skin.
